The University of California San Francisco offers fitness memberships to both students and the public. Clients can join a number of sports, classes, and activities such as rock-climbing to martial arts. The program also offers personal and fitness training.

UCFS Fitness centers have a number of physical assessment tools such as Fit3D Optical Imaging which captures a 360 degree image and measurements of your body and VO2 cardiovascular testing. They also have DEXA Scans for a total, comprehensive analysis of your muscle and fat content. Appointments can be made by calling the facility directly. They also accept walk-ins but this is dependent on the availability of their fitness trainers at the time.

DEXA Scans and other testing are offered through the Parnassus campus. This location is north of the Mt. Sutro Open Space Reserve, off exit 1B of I-80 W.
