Ultrasound imaging is a non-invasive medical technique that utilizes high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the inside of the body. These procedures do not use any radiation and are a painless imaging method used to examine the gallbladder, heart, breasts, fetus, kidneys, liver, thyroid, uterus, vasculature, and other soft tissue internal organs.

A fluoroscopy scan utilizes advanced technology to capture accurate, high-resolution imaging of bones, muscles, joints, and solid organs.  Utilizing C-Arm imaging equipment, an x-ray beam is transmitted through the body part that is being examined, and graphically illustrates location, movement, and functionality of internal bodily structures. Fluoroscopic imaging provides the equivalent of real-time videography in an x-ray format.

An x-ray utilizes radiation to capture images of internal structures of the body and generates a digital image for diagnostic assessment. Sometimes referred to as general x-ray, plain radiography or direct imaging, x-ray is the most widely used form of imaging due to its simplicity and speed. High-energy beams painlessly penetrate the body to capture images and provide a diagnostic assessment, commonly used for bones, joints and chest imaging. X-ray imaging is frequently used to diagnose fractures, pneumonia, heart failure, collapsed lung, bowel blockage, infections, and cancer.
